The Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCM) database focuses on natural products found in Chinese medicines. The DVD includes monographs containing information on over 10,000 chemicals isolated from over 4,600 natural sources (mostly plants, with a small number of animals and a few minerals). The monographs feature bio-activity data for many of the compounds; effects and indications of the medicines; English, Latin and Chinese names for the natural sources; and over 2,000 references.
